Rachel’s google maps drawing class was wonderful today. Students travelled to Paris, Hawaii and Peru. Sketching all the way. We've decided to do this again next Tuesday April 28th 12-12;40. Let me know if you'd like to join the fun. $15 per student.

We continue to make lots of all sorts of art! Here's a quick list of what's happening:
11 am Art Meet Up
Open to all. We've settled into a fun schedule of morning meet ups filled with art assignments and conversations. No need to sign on. The Zoom link is on the Art with Amy web site artwithamy.com . Or feel free to email artwithamystudio@gmail.com for details. This one is a 40 minute class. Pay what you will via Venmo. Recent projects have included designing houses, drawing dreams and creating fantasy botanical drawings.
2:30 pm Art Class
These are regular weekly art classes. We meet for 80 minutes making all sorts of art together including painting, drawing and building projects. In the true spirit of Art with Amy, students will often pursue their own creativity while I follow, guide and support. We check out art history, watch short movies and make art. We also do group projects and these days kids seem to love homework assignments. Please email for availability and pricing.
1;00 pm Art History
Hands-on one-hour art history classes meeting on either Tuesdays at 1 or Thursdays at 1. Emphasis on fun.
$100 for a four week set
5;00 pm Pokemon art meet ups with Danielle!
Mondays at 5
Stay tuned for plans on a 4:00 pm meet up as well

12;00 pm Comic class drawing and writing with Milo!
Build your own character and create a story line.
Wednesdays and Thursdays 12-12:40 Meeting for a month of classes $160
Tuesday April 21 12-12:40 pm Sketchbook class
Students will travel around an area using google maps and their sketchbooks as we recreate scenes and draw together.
This one is inspired by artist Mishka Henna who has been doing exactly this.
Workshop meeting Tuesday 21st ( that's next week for those of you losing track of time ). $15
We have more 40 minute workshops in the works including touring museums worldwide with your sketchbook in hand, zine workshop (folding, drawing, collage ), origami, and make your own diorama. Stay tuned for details.

Pokémon meet up Monday at 5!
Join us to draw and voice your Pokemon concerns and annoyances!
Pokémon is a vast world filled with many cool creatures!! At this point there are probably over a 1,000 Pokémon! More than enough to draw for what is called the 100 day challenge where students draw the same subject matter for 100 days! Our fearless Danielle will lead the group in 40 minutes of Pokemon conversation and art.

HI all-
From here on out I will be offering 11 am art meet ups. These will a fun 30 minutes of talking about and sharing art, dreams, thoughts, jokes and sometimes music. I will be giving an art assignment each class. All are welcome. These meet ups feel like a party line. If we start to get too crowded happy to add on. Afternoon art class
This link is for students who normally come to the studio on a certain day. If you'd like to drop in on these that's fine with me. i expect these are smaller groups and the kids pretty much know one another.

i am putting together a hands art history classes for kids. These classes are limited to 6 students per class. We'll be using museum virtual tours and will be touring all over the world.
I’m working on a list of short daily workshops that you can sign on to as well.

Hello Art with Amy community,
As painful as this is for me I am shutting my studio down for the next couple of weeks. I will not be running any art classes this week and next. It is the most responsible thing to do under the current circumstances. Not sure what lies around the corner so I will be in touch.
I plan on running a daily Amy With Amy on Zoom video where I will show the kids what I'm working on and they can show me what they are up to. Hoping many of you will tune in and join on. The exact plan is in the works and I'll follow up with that soon. Realizing this does not replace actual studio time but hoping this helps with the quarantine.

We made musical instruments with Seth and played them :). We made jewelry with Tamar. Dot paintings with Egle and flip books with Danielle...and of course art with amy.
February vacation art class update: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30-2:30 is filling. Still a few spaces open. We have space in the afternoons 2:30-6 as well. Email artwithamystudio@gmail.com for details and to sign on. This is next week :D Paintings by Layla.
Excited to have Eglė Galdikaitė-Brazienė back in the studio with a Kid's Meditative Dot Workshop. We incorporated this one into the February school break classes but also great to sign on as a stand alone AND stay if you'd like to do this with your child too. Friday, Feb 21 10-12.

Our studio will be open Wed - Fri 2/19-2/21 during February break for all sorts of art explorations!
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30-2:30 and 2:30-6.

Tamar will be teaching Jewelry and Alternative Sculpture and Egle is back Friday morning with a Meditative Dot Workshop.
