Weaving on looms AND Fall session!


Calling all would be weavers and fiber arts lovers! Mihoko returns to Art with Amy in Brookline Village the week of July 7th! Create scarves, bags, dolls AND lasting memories. This class is Intergenerational, adults welcome. Meeting M-F 9-2.

Looking ahead to Fall classes we have space available on some days. All classes are mixed age, though for the upcoming year we are full for the kindergarten set. Fridays are a group of 7th- high school age.

On the schedule: canvas painting, creating sculptures of all sorts, drawing and sketchbooking, art history, local museum field trips and joyful art exploration! We have pick up at Pierce, Lawrence and FRR. Studio classes run directly after school until 6:00.

We believe in the magic and power of creativity, and like to meet students where they’re at. While we offer many different projects each week, there are never any requirements. This is a real studio for artists to explore! Summer programs are mixed age in small groups.


Each day is broken into two sections with similar programming for each section.

Enjoy a full week of weaving, spinning, felting and sewing (by hand and machine!). Each summer we've seen our students make lasting memories AND scarves, vests, dresses, and stuffed animals.

Calling all summer time procrastinators!

It's been brought to my attention that Brookline schools end on Monday, June 23rd!

For those not attending Brookline schools I will still be open that Monday from 8:30-2:00 and again from 2:00-6:00 for our first week of SUMMER FUN!
Sign on by the day or week.

We have a full line up this summer of weaving on floor-sized looms, nature week, cities week and wearable art week. Always tie dye, painting and lots of fun.

It's taken me all year to learn about my new online sign on system so don't be shy to reach out to artwithamystudio@gmail.com with any questions and to sign on.

Fall is officially here!

Here come the Brookline school half days! 

We have online registration for the two Thursday classes. Both include pick up at OLS ( Pierce) and pizza.

For Wednesday half days our after school class will be taking museum field trips which will include the after school time. Classes will run 12:30-6. We may have space for two more students. Please reach out if you are interested.

Week of July 22nd
Wearable art and sewing week!

8:30-2:00
Paint tote bags and design t-shirts, including learning the art of batik (painting with wax and dyes pictured below ). Make a stuffed animal, and learn embroidery.
As usual, there will also be tie dye, drawing, sketchbooking, and canvas painting. 
Mixed ages welcome!

2:00-6:00

Afternoons have been 12 year olds and teens with a mix of art including batik, painting and all sorts of constructions. It's been a peaceful and fun time. 

For this week sign ons by the day and week are welcome. Please reach out with questions and to sign on.
